Our Officers

We elect a new set of officers every Rotaract year (July-June).

2009-2010 Officers:

President: Nathalie Cras

Nathalie is currently an undergraduate student at the University of St. Thomas studying Pre-Med/ Business and serving as a presidential ambassador to the University.  She has been with Rotaract of River Oaks for two years and was the Service Coordinator in 2008-2009.  Nathalie is of Belgian-American nationality.

Treasurer: Shristi Shrestha

Since her first meeting in 2005, Shristi has been impressed by the dynamic group of young leaders in River Oak Rotaract, and she hopes that each of you is enthusiastic about joining this outstanding team.  Besides Rotaract, she's also involved with the Transp. Club of Houston, Student Steering Committee, Nepalese Assn. of Houston, Med. Interpretation Organizations, etc.  She currently works at the Art Institutes of Houston-N, and studies (MHA/MBA) at UH-CL.  Shristi got her B.S. degree from UT-Austin, and Cert. in Public Health from UTHSC-Houston.
Service Coordinator: Eric Elizondo

Eric was born and raised in McAllen, TX.  He graduated as a chemical engineer and worked as a Process Engineer for Shaw Group.  Eric served as the Service Coordinator and Historian at the Rotaract of Lamar in Beaumont, TX and was the president of McAllen Memorial High School Interact Club.  He enjoys the outdoors, playing soccer or tennis, reading, sketching, painting, and sports.
Webmaster: Yunchiu Chang

Majoring in HDFS (Human Development and Family Studies), Yunchiu currently attends the University of Houston and works as a Futura Language Professionals' instructor.  She participated briefly in her high school's Interact club (District 5890) and has joined Rotaract of River Oaks since fall of 2005.  Yunchiu is an alumna of UH American Humanics Nonprofit Management Certification program and AmeriCorps*VISTA.  She hopes to work in the nonprofit or social work sector in the future and enjoys reading and traveling.
